Marco, a medical doctor specialised in medical genetics, is an expert in rare diseases, high technology laboratory settings, and precision medicine. Marco’s passion for IT and ICT combined with his profession make him active in supporting the development of MedTech, biotech, and pharma based businesses thanks also to an extended network of contacts in academic and research spaces topped by a broad experience in clinical and experimental medicine.
Coming from a family devoted to medicine he has a Medical Doctor degree from Campus Bio-Medico University, a specialty in Medical Genetics from Tor Vergata University, and a Ph.D. in Human Biology and Medical Genetics (2019) from La Sapienza University. He was appointed in 2016 as an honorary lecturer in Pathology at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro.
